Music this complex has no business being so soulful and deep. Creating a music so technically challenging but making it so musical, beautiful, and vibrant, not turning it into an exercise in pointless virtuosity, must be Mr. Forgas' biggest gift, it really reminds me of Zappa in this regard. As good as studio tracks are, live tracks absolutely burn with a vengeance.
